This is an example of a self assessment skills list for Fundamentals Math that students used to place themselves along a "strength/emerging/needs support" continuum. They then organized Math Lab work around moving along the continuum, and re-assessed quarterly.



Joe Brysiewicz Presentation: Standards Based Grading & IC
This powerpoint was developed for Joe's tenure inquiry project. In this presentation he explains how he altered his grading practices, and his reporting of grades in IC, to reflect more of a standards-based approach. Joe's adaptions have helped transform his conversations with students to be more about learning and less about grades.
